Higher System Retention
More hens stay in the Nature 1 system than in other aviary solutions, keeping manure on the manure belts, not litter.

Fewer Floor Eggs, More Nest Eggs
The higher retention in the system results in fewer floor eggs on the litter and a higher percentage of clean nest eggs.
Belts Inside and Outside the Nest
Nature 1 adds egg conveyor belts inside the nest system and outside every other mesh-wire-floor level.
Automatic Elevator Collection
All system eggs are automatically collected to the main egg elevator, reducing cracked and dirty eggs.

60cm Center Inspection Corridor
The center inspection / control corridor inside the layer aviary system is 60cm wide.
Excellent Management Access
Excellent access to the birds for controlling and handling the hens, water, feed, and nests.
Less Wing Damage, Reduced Dust
The corridor reduces bird wing damage and bruising during flight between levels, and cuts dust.
Bird- and Litter-Free Corridor Between Rows
In back-to-back house layouts, installing Nature 1 systems back to back creates a second, bird and litter free inspection corridor between the two system rows.
Easy Access for Routine Inspection
Mesh wire doors let staff enter this litter-free corridor between rows for routine nest management and inspection.

Two Nest Access Levels
Two automatic nest levels let hens choose the easiest access, avoiding competition for nest space.
Less Pecking-Order Stress
The Nature 1 design leads to less stress caused by the pecking order of hens in front of the nests.

Moves the Nest Bottom Gently
The nest bottom moves up and down approximately 2cm to ensure all eggs roll out of the nest onto the egg belt.
Operates in Sync
This unique component operates in sync with the winch, the time clock, and the nest bottom.
Keeps Birds Out & Nest Clean
The nest bottom then moves upward to expel birds and keep the nest closed and clean during lights-out.
Opens Before Lights On
The nest opens again a few minutes before the lights come back on.
